Carlos Alberto Kamienski

Profile:Carlos A. Kamienski received a B.S. degree in computer science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis, Brazil) in 1989, a M.S. degree from the State University of Campinas (Campinas, Brazil) in 1994 and a Ph.D. in computer science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Recife Brazil) in 2003. He is full professor of Computer Science at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) in Santo André SP, Brazil, where currently he also holds the positions of Head of International Relations and head of the NUVEM Strategic Research Group. His current research interests include Internet of Things, Smart Cities, network softwarization and cloud/fog computing.
