Erik Gustavo Del Conte

Profile:Control and automation engineer with MSc (CAPES scholarship) and PhD (CNPq scholarship) in manufacturing engineering by the Methodist University of Piracicaba with Sandwich period (CAPES scholarship) at the Technical University of Berlin, Institute for Machine Tools and Factory Management (IWF). Worked in support of research projects for industry at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology (IPK), Berlin. He coordinated research projects funded by CNPq and by industry. Revised Research grant project of Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Reviewer of Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Engineering and IEEE Latin America Transactions. He was a visiting researcher at the Automated Production Research Laboratory (LURPA) at ENS Paris-Saclay, Cachan and at the IWF Institute of TU Berlin. Has interest in research on manufacturing technologies, additive manufacturing, production management and sustainability in manufacturing. He is currently Assistant Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) where he is coordinator of the interdisciplinary research in manufacturing Lab and coordinator of the Industrial Academic PhD (DAI).
