Human and Social Sciences
The Humanities and Social Sciences program aims at: 1) promoting an interdisciplinary reflection locus on research themes that address the social and economic development agenda; 2) investigating social, economic, and cultural processes from the perspective of scientific and technological impacts, of new ways of local and global governance, of the role of the State and of addressing disparities, and of multiple rights violations.
Due to its interdisciplinary nature, the student profile is broad and includes students from all areas of knowledge, and who are willing to conduct research from an interdisciplinary perspective. The professional profile relates to the following skills: development of academic research that expresses consistent reflections; pursuit of higher education teaching; build research teams in institutions; presence in the public power; presence in the private sector, implementation of social responsibility programs inserted into corporate structures or in the definition of public/private projects; development of projects in the Third Sector segment.
