Nanosciences and Advanced Materials
Nowadays, the technological advances are present in almost all human activities such as medicine, pharmacology, agriculture, conservation and environmental remediation, energy production and conversion, diagnostic imaging production, among others. In all challenging area is increasing the use of nanostructures of metals, semiconductors, and organic materials. Likewise, the production of advanced materials has contributed to the technological development. The Nanoscience and Advanced Materials program offers Masters and PhD courses to qualify human resources through a multi-disciplinary training and internationalization. The student trained by the program will be qualified to work in universities and the productive sector and contribute to cutting-edge technological development with an impact on scientific economic and social advancement of the country. The graduate of the program will have a multidisciplinary, broad and differentiated training which includes areas such as physics, chemistry, biology and materials engineering and will be qualified for the cutting-edge research and development of technological innovations in the research lines of the program.
