Engineering and Innovation Management
The Graduate Program in Engineering and Innovation Management has the challenge of educating a new generation that will create solutions that meet the complex demands faced by the contemporary society. Therefore, the program addresses innovation from the viewpoint of technology systems design and organizational contexts. Candidates should be prepared to create new businesses, products, services or processes and to manage the innovation process either in new or traditional sectors, private, public or NGOs.
In order to integrate different perspectives of innovation, we work with the concept of innovation labs and project-based learning. The idea is to carry out projects with teams that can integrate theoretical and practical interdisciplinary skills. Some example of courses offered in this program: Strategic Management of Innovation, Foundations of Systems Engineering, Technology Marketing, Theory and Practice of Design, Financing Innovation, Analytical Methods for Designers, Innovation Law, Cognitive Engineering, Management of Technology, Interactive Design and Business Design.
