Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering program is designed for professionals who want to technically improve in the research lines offered by the program, and who wish to prepare themselves to meet the new technological challenges of the 21st century.

The faculty is composed of professionals with strong performance in electrical engineering expertise areas of great importance to the world’s challenges. Just as UFABC, the program has an interdisciplinary structure that includes the following research lines: 1) Electrical and Electronic Systems, and 2) Computational Modeling and Simulation. The interaction among these fields of study is paramount for the development of modern telecommunication,  electronics, and energy supply systems, from generation to end use, in a sustainable and efficient manner (smart grids). The course is endowed with laboratories, where students are able to conduct their research in the faculty’s working areas, equipped with modern computers, electric power systems analysis and simulation software, benches for simulation and design of electronic components, electrical machines, and telecommunications systems.

Call for application usually opens in June and November.
