Tem experiência nas seguintes áreas de Ciência Política: tomada de decisão, política comercial, política burocrática, mudança institucional, voto econômico e a relação entre democracia e desigualdade social. Foi professor nas Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas - FMU no curso de Bacharelado em Relações Internacionais.
Publicou o livro: "Burocracia e Política: a construção institucional da política comercial brasileira" (2011) e os artigos "Interesses Organizados na Política Comercial Brasileira: da Era CACEX às Negociações Internacionais" na Revista Acadêmica Leviathan Cadernos de Pesquisa Política (2011), "A construção institucional da política comercial brasileira: a Câmara de Comércio Exterior (CAMEX) no governo Cardoso" na Revista de Sociologia e Política (2013) e "Flying in Clear Skies: Technical Arguments Influencing ANAC Regulations" na Brazilian Political Science Review (2014).

Professor of the Bachelor of Public Policy (BPP) at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and of the Graduate Program in Public Policy (PPGP) at UFABC. He is also a member of the Bachelor of Science and Humanities (BCH / UFABC). Current coordinator of the Graduate Program in Public Policy (PPGP) at UFABC. He was vice-coordinator of the BPP (2016-2017) and the Specialization and Post-graduate Course in Human Rights Education at UFABC (2017-2019). Bachelor in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations (IRI) of the University of São Paulo (USP, 2007), Master and Doctor in Political Science from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (FFLCH) of the same university (2010, 2014). He was a visiting researcher at the Department of Political Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2012. Author of the books Does democracy reduce economic inequality? A study on the possibilities of building an equal society through democracy (EdUFABC, 2017) and Bureaucracy and Politics: the institutional construction of Brazilian commercial policy (Biblioteca24horas, 2011). He has published articles in several magazines such as Economics Letters, International Political Science Review, Foreign Policy Analysis, Brazilian Political Science Review, Revista de Administração Pública, Revista Brasileira de Sociologia, Organizações & Sociedade, Revista do Serviço Público, Journal of Addictions, Addictive Behaviors Reports, among others. His research areas are Comparative Politics, Political Economy, Decision Making, Public Policy Analysis and Foreign Policy, and Public Policies related to Alcohol and other Drugs.
